Gyros Protein Technologies

Immunogenicity

Gyros Protein Technologies has launched Gyrolab Generic Cyno Anti-Drug Antibodies (ADA) Kit Reagents for the detection of circulating immune complexes of human IgG with cyno anti-human IgG. The kit reagents streamline pre-clinical development of antibody-based therapeutics, enabling immunogenicity screening of drug candidates without drug-specific ADA assay development. The kit removes the need for assay development and provides robust, reproducible, reliable data.

Randox

Heart failure diagnosis

Randox Laboratories has introduced BNP1-32 – an accepted clinical practice for the diagnosis of heart failure due to its high sensitivity and specificity. It is an automated test for levels of BNP, which can be indicative of several comorbid conditions, such as congestive heart failure, coronary heart disease, atrial fibrillation, chronic renal failure and chronic respiratory disease. This control is designed to be used alongside the Acusera range of third-party controls. Randox has also released Prostate-Specific Antigen, which allows testing for indications of prostate cancer and other prostate conditions such as prostatitis and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
